Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep ( https://www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org/ ) is a non profit organization whose mission is to introduce remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with a free gift of professional portraiture. The organization trains, educates, and mobilizes professional quality photographers to provide beautiful heirloom portraits to families facing the untimely death of an infant.  We believe these images serve as an important step in the family’s healing process by honoring the child’s legacy. Here in Second Life I was so deeply moved and honored when a friend asked me to blog their charity event benefitting this fine organization whose sole purpose is to give comfort to families whose children are born with life ending disabilities . All of the NILMDTS items I am wearing in this post give 100% of the proceeds to the real world charity. The event begins tomorrow November 12th, 2014 and ends November 26th, so I hope you will find it in your heart to stop by and purchase something.
